The Bible refers the word of God as the sword of the Spirit; the word of God changes the lives of people. It brings new life where there is death and hope where discouragement has done its work. No one read the word of God seriously, put it into practices and his life remained the same.

Vance Havner one day said, "Let it never be forgotten that, although we may do nothing about the Word we hear, the Word will do something to us. The same sun melts ice and hardens clay, and the Word humbles or hardens the human heart." Bill Graham called Harver, "The most quoted preacher of the twentieth century."Through reading his books, thousands were lead to experience God in a new and exciting way.

There is something taking place every time we read the word of God. Even if we don't see it on the outside; but our inside man is being renewed every day to become more like Christ. The word of God teaches us to humble before God; and at the same time teaches us to be strong in the hour of temptation. I'm always asking myself what I would do without the word of God. I have seen many things changed in my life because the word did its work inside of me; and without it I wouldn’t be where I am today!

This morning, I want to encourage you to continue reading the word of God daily. The Psalmist David says; "I have thought much about your words and stored them in my heart so that they would hold me back from sin." David knew the only way to protect himself from going back to the life of sin would be reading the word of God. If you don't have enough deposit of the word inside of you; you will find yourself committing the same sins over and over again.

I want to encourage you to read the word of God; I believe God has placed this message inside of me that I may remind you to do so. If you want to see victory in your walk with the Lord; then you need to read the word of God. If you want to know and walk in the promises of God; then make the word of God to be your daily spiritual bread and you will see great transformation in your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Father God, I'm coming before you this morning. Lord I'm asking that You may increase the desire of reading the word of God inside of me. Help me to understand and put it into practices. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
