Morning with Ebenezer

WALK WITH THE LORD

You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.

Deuteronomy 5:33 ESV

There is a temptation that we are all facing, the temptation of walking in the way of the world instead of the way of the Lord. The way of the world seems always easy and straight and most of the time it brings over night results.

When we look on the way of the Lord, most of the time it seems long, difficult and it doesn't give the results right away. It needs patience to walk in this way; it needs obedience in order to reach where God wants you to be. The way of the world it doesn't demand much effort from you and hence it seems the best alternative to many.

We were taught to walk in the way of the Lord. People who taught us about our precious faith in Christ Jesus instructed us to follow what the Bible says. The Spirit of God inside of us keeps on encouraging us to obey the word of God and walk according to God’s timeline in our lives. He is the one who gives us strength to have a self disciple and wait patiently for the Lord will to be fulfilled in us.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to walk with the Lord. There are many voices out there and many teachings that they may tempt you to leave your precious faith in Christ Jesus and walk in them. When you find yourself tempted to do those just remember how far you have come with Jesus.

If the Lord has been taking care of you up to this day; be sure He will never fail you. Don't embrace short cuts in life; they always end up in pain and regrets. The Lord will never fail you, trust in the Lord, obey His commandments and all things will work together for your good in His time.

****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I will trust you Lord in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
