HE IS WILLING TO PROVIDE

God, who lives in his holy palace, is a father to orphans, and he takes care of widows. God provides homes for those who are lonely. He frees people from prison and makes them happy. But those who turn against him will live in the desert.

Psalm 68:5-6 ERV

Orphans and widows are one of the weakest groups in the society. When we read James 1:27 the Bible says; Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Here the author of the book of James describe the pure religion that God our Father accepts is looking after orphans and widows in their troubles and keeping yourself free from the world's evil influence. Before the Psalmist David described God as the father to orphans, and the husband of the widows. He is the one who takes care of them and defend them; if you do anything to these people you will directly be answerable to God.

He is the God who provides homes for those who are lonely. I believe here the Psalmist was talking about single people too! Those who fast and pray to get their soul-mates in this life; I believe he was also talking about those people who have been married for years and have no children. Then those children who have no parents and walking on the streets without having a place called home.

This morning, I just you want you to know that God knows your needs and He is more than willing to provide them for you. He sees and understands all things that you are going through right now. He is the one who you can trust with the secrets and struggles of your life. If you will share anything with Him just be sure He will take care of it.

He is the one who frees people from every kind of prison in this life. He is the one who breaks the chains of addictions and disconnect the trends of sin. If you put your trust in Him, He will protect you and prosper you in every corner of your life.
