Morning with Ebenezer

BE ENCOURAGED

My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.

Psalm 119:50 NIV

We all know that God promises are found in His word. In the Bible you will find the promises of God on every situation in life. There are answers to everything we face; some argue that there are controversies in the Bible. I strongly disagree with them because the Bible is the most accurate book ever written in this world.

If you will read a Bible like any other normal book and try to translate everything without the help of the Spirit of God you will never understand it at all. Apostle Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

These Scriptures are the ones that give us the comfort we need in the times of suffering. They give us hope that no matter what we are passing through right now; somewhere along the way God will show up and help us. These Scriptures give us examples of men and women who lived and faced the same problems we face; but overcame them through the power of the Spirit of God who worked in them.

This morning, I just want you to encourage yourself by spending time reading different promises of God over your life in the Bible. You need to know that the Bible was written for all of us, but each promise also apply to each one of us personally. So when the Bible says I will heal you; know that God can heal a nation or a group of believers let say a church but also He can heal you personally.

If the Bible said God will bless Israel if they will obey Him let in giving tithes; then know that there will be the same blessings to you if you will obey Him in that particular area. Take the word of God and apply it in your personal life; you will start seeing changes and God will act according to what He has promised you in His word. Be encouraged today; ask the Spirit of God to help you understand Scriptures and your spiritual state will never be the same.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord I'm asking that You may build in me the desire to read and meditate your word. Help to live according to what your word commands me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
