LOVING THE LORD
“If you love
Me, you will keep My commandments.
John 14:15
NASB
One of the
challenges that young Christians face in this digital age system is how they
will continue loving the Lord in the middle of all these new age movements.
There are a lot of information and instructions out there that are totally
opposite with what is written in the Holy Scriptures.
There is a
pressure of being conformed with the people of this world; and those who try to
hold the true doctrines of the Gospel Jesus Christ, are being subjected as old school
people. Many critics of the truth have been risen preaching things which they think many
people want to hear and forsake the cross, the blood and repentance of sin for
sinners.
Many have
made Christianity to be like an enterprise that they can get profit out of it
and forget that they were given the great commission by the Lord Himself to
preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. That's why we have huge number of
false preachers who are there for their own stomachs; preaching and doing
things for their own selfish ambitions.
This
morning, God wants you to know if you love Him, you will keep His commandments.
Do not lie yourself that you love the Lord, and call yourself a born again,
Spirit filled Christian if you don't keep what the Lord commanded us from the
beginning. You can prove and show your love for Him, if you will obey what is
written in the Scriptures.
Start this
day meditating these words, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments”.
Reflect your own personal life without thinking of anyone else and see if you love
the Lord. If the answer will be yes, it means you are keeping His commandments.
If you don't keep them, repent and start afresh by loving Him in deed and truth.
****Morning
Prayer****
Pray this
prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear
Heavenly Father, Lord forgive me for not keeping your commandments. Help me to
keep them from now on; that I may show my love for You by doing exactly You are
commanding me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
