Morning with Ebenezer

FIRE

When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.

Isaiah 43:2 TLB

Fire is used in various work such as landscape modification, hunting, cooking, smoking hides and meat to preserve, heat treating stone for tools, wood working, making charcoal, fire to repel predators, heating shelters, lighting(torches), communication-signaling and etc.

Fire has brought a lot of merits to a modern man and its discovery was a turning point in the cultural aspect of human evolution that allowed humans to cook food and obtain warmth and protection. The Prophet Isaiah who lived 750 before Christ talked about walking through the fire and by the power of the Spirit of God he promised Israel will not be burned.

Later 600 years before Christ the Bible talks about three young men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were the friend of a prophet Daniel. These young men walked through the fire in Babylon before King Nebuchadnezzar and they were not burned, (Dan 3:25-27). These words of eagle Prophet Isaiah came to pass through these young courageous men and these words are still applicable to you and me even to this day.

This morning, God wants you to know was the one who rescued Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the furnace of fire, and He will rescue you too! Whatever things which cause your heart to be burn, if there is any reason which makes you to be awake all night, if there is disease or sickness that I have been troubling you just know God is able to save you from it.

He is the God of all universe but remember He created each and every one of us; He is more concerning with us individual as He concern with the matters of all universe. If you are passing through pain just know He understands, if you are passing through temptation just be at peace that He knows. His only begotten Son was tempted and overcame them with unforgettable victories. God before His this morning and open up to Him, and He will see you through your situation.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, You are the calmer of the storm. You were the fourth person in the furnace of fire who rescued Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Help me overcome and pass through fire in this time of my life. Give me victory in the midst of my troubles that I may praise your Name before all people. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
