Morning with Ebenezer

THINKING ABOUT THE END

Here is my final conclusion: fear God and obey his commandments, for this is the entire duty of man.  For God will judge us for everything we do, including every hidden thing, good or bad.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 TLB

King Solomon lived his entire life trying to understand the purpose of life. He wrote many proverbs, sayings and poems concerning many things in life. He is considered as the wisest man even lived, Queen of Sheba went to Him to hear about His wisdom.

He did many good things in the sight of God including building the first temple of God in the city of David, Jerusalem. He also committed sins before God by worshiping the foreign idols who brought by his wives from other nations. At the end of the day he discovered everything is useless in this life; and a man should live in this present life knowing that one day everything will come to its end.

In His Book of Ecclesiastes, he gives these concluding remarks about what a person should done in this life: Now, what should we learn from everything that is written in this book? The most important thing a person can do is to respect God and obey his commands, because he knows about everything people do—even the secret things. He knows about all the good and all the bad, and he will judge people for everything they do.(Ecc. 12:13-14)

This morning, God wants you to know that He will judge us for everything we do, including every hidden thing, good or bad. Live in the present while you pay a great attention about your end; know that God is watching everything you are doing right now. One day you will be needed to give account of each and everything you did in your life.

Hell is real and Heaven is splendor! If you will fear God and live right in this life, heaven will be for you. If you will ignore God and live according to your own desires be sure you will not left unpunished by God. Choose wise, start living for Jesus today. God bless you!
