Morning with Ebenezer

FEELING FORGOTTEN?

But Zion [Jerusalem, her people as seen in captivity] said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. [And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before Me.

Isaiah 49:14-16 AMP

Maybe you have waked up this morning having the feeling that God has forgotten you. You thought about the way you trusted God and walked in His truth and prayed earnestly in the past. You thought things would be easy by now; and you would get what you desired to have in life during this time.

In the church we have young women who are in their late twenties and other who are in their thirties but still single. They thought they would be married in middle of their twenties and have kids but for some reasons that time passed by and nothing happened. Many of these wonderful women of God are frustrated not knowing if they suppose to continue trusting God or just to take a short cut and marry anyone who will come.

There are many men who are in their forties and they once thought during this time everything will be alright. They will have all what they dreamed in life but for someone reasons things came different. These situations and others may make someone to think that the Lord has forgotten him; and forsake him for good.

This morning, God wants you to know He will never forget you, because He has imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of His hands. There are some things which came different from the plans which you had in mind; because God had other plans for you in His mind. He has seen your faithfulness and He wants you to continue being faithful because He will soon come to visit you.

I just want to encourage you to continue praying, fasting and put your faith in the word of God. God knows what you are going through right now and He has already prepared a plan for your rescue. You are not forgotten, He has a better plan for you than what you had for yourself. Stay focused, know that He is in control over your life; and all things which He has promised will come to pass just be patient in the Lord.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord help me to wait on You. Help me to stand in faith and believe in You all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
