Morning with Ebenezer

BY FAITH

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Hebrews 11:8 NKJV

Faith is a bridge that connects people who are in Christ Jesus and God the Creator of heavens and earth. Without faith it is impossible to please God, whoever comes to God must believe that He is real and that He rewards those who sincerely try to find Him.(Heb 11:6)

There is a gift of faith that is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and what is called common faith or normal faith. This gift of faith is not for everyone, but for the few people who have been chosen by the Spirit of God according to His will. But this common faith is for everyone; every believer needs to have this kind of faith in his/her life.

Abraham obeyed God even before knowing Him in a deeper level like most of us know Him now. God was in the initial stages of introducing and reveal Himself to Abraham; and when He asked Him to leave his father's house and go to the place which He will show him. By faith Abraham obeyed and trusted God without knowing where he was going.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to have Abrahamic type of faith. I just want to encourage you to start trusting the known God for your unknown future. You need to start walking by faith and not by sight. You need to start speak of things that don't yet exist in your life as if they are real.

You need start seeing by faith where you will be ten years from now. You need to start calling those promises of God in the Scriptures in your life and the life of your children. Speak life instead of death, faith instead of fear and love instead of hate. Do everything by faith from now on and you will get your reward from God.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I'm asking that You may help me to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
