TAKEN FOR GRANTED?

Never pay back evil for evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honest clear through. Don’t quarrel with anyone. Be at peace with everyone, just as much as possible.

 Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God, for he has said that he will repay those who deserve it. Don’t take the law into your own hands.

Many of us once, twice or more in our course of life have felt like someone or people have taken us for granted. Maybe it is in your local fellowship or church where you have put all of your efforts and time to make things run smoothly; but no one seems to recognize and appreciate what you are doing.

Maybe once you loved someone with all of your heart, you gave your time, resources and energy to prove that your love for that person was genuine. You expected to be loved back and appreciated for your efforts but you ended up getting disappointments and I am better than you like attitude from that person.

This can cause serious emotional problems on your side; you will start feeling that you are not worth to be with anyone in life. You may start condemning yourself thinking maybe you didn't do enough to make that person love you back. The feeling of rejection rise up and the fear to love someone else in the future become vividly in your mind and you may feel like a looser.

This morning, God wants you to let go of all who once have  taken you for granted. Learn to forgive them and pray for them. It is true you meant good by taking people serious and love them wholeheartedly; but it was not your place to make them accept and recognize your efforts.

You did what was best for that person or group and the Lord will bless you. There is no need for you to feel bad after being rejected, because you did what you where supposed to do. Giving someone your love is not an assurance that you will get love in return; just wait that it may grow in their hearts, but if it doesn't just be contend it grew in yours.

Move forward and ask the Lord to send you people who will love you back and recognize every efforts you make for them. May God give you strength to let go and move towards your future.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to forgive and let go of all people who took me for granted in my life. Help me to understand that my efforts were not in vain, if some people did not recognize then it's okay because You God saw them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
