HEAVY HEART
Heaviness in
the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
Proverbs 12:25
KJV
Have you
ever met a person with a heavy heart? The whole outside appearance reflect what
is on the inside. Many of us have experienced heaviness in our hearts in one
way or another. This heaviness can be caused by various reasons such as sad
news, being disappointed, spiritual oppression, grief or even physical pain.
There are
some of us who are experiencing heaviness in our hearts because we have been
disappointed by our own actions. We wanted to be like so and so and but every
time when we tried; we fall short to be like them and this was a big disappointment.
We did not know that they had their own purposes in life and God assigned other
purposes for us.
God never
intended you to be like so and so; but when you were created He wanted you to
be a new creation of its kind among other creations. He had a unique purpose
for your life and a peculiar assignment that’s why you were born in different
family and environments. You fought to copy someone who you admired and you
forgot that God did not create copies; but He made originals and He wanted you
to be His original and not copy of someone else.
This
morning, God wants you to give you a garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness. God will give you a new song on your lips, He will cause you to praise
Him before your discouragements and get rid the heaviness in you. Present
yourself before the Lord and pour your heart and let Him heals and binds its
wounds.
God is the
only one who you can truly trust with the matters of your heart. People may come
and seem to care but they cannot understand the way God understands you. He has
a good plan for your life, He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward,
thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you, to give you a future and a
hope, Jeremiah 29:11. Be encouraged because you will never be alone, the Lord
will always be there for you.
