THE PLACE OF HOLY SPIRIT

If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!

Luke 11:13 AMP

The first Church was so powerful because it gave Holy Spirit the first place in everything. Most of the saints were inexperienced, they did not know much as we do. There were no seminars, Mega churches, Big Pastors, experienced Preachers nor Christian Books which we have today in every corner of the globe.

The Bible was still in the process of being written, they did not have teachers who have P.h.D and Bible Professors. There were no Christians televisions and radios, they did not have websites nor blogs yet the Church of Jesus Christ was so powerful and the gates of Hades did not prevail against it.

Holy Spirit was the source of all of their spiritual intelligence and was the one who performed all those miracles, signs and wonders when the Gospel was preached. Members of the Church were full of the Lord, they walked in holiness, and feared God with all of their hearts. They served God with pure heart without having any hidden agendas inside and the Lord prospered them in every corner of their lives.

This morning, God wants you to give first place to Holy Spirit in your life. You may say I don't even know Him like so and so. It's true that the Bible and Preachers teach many things about Him, but I don't know Him in that dimension which others know Him and hence I don't know where to start.

I want to encourage You my friend that, the Holy Spirit was sent with the Father for everyone who will believe the name of Jesus Christ. When you were born again, He came in you as the indwelling power from the Father who brought that peace which you have now in Christ. But later you can receive Him as infilling power from the Father and it will be manifested to you in tongues, you will start speaking in new tongues or if you like the Heavenly language.

You may say I do speak in tongues, but still there somethings missing in me when it comes to Holy Spirit. What you need to do now is to ask Him to reveal Himself to you as the helper and personal friend. Start sharing what you are going through in life with Him and ask Him to show you the direction which you should go. He is very faithful and friendly, He will direct your steps and show you the way you should take.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Jehovah God, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm inviting your Spirit in my life today. I'm asking that You may help me to cooperate with your Holy Spirit that I may live the life full of power in this world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
