Morning with Ebenezer

HE CAN DIRECT YOUR STEPS

And Paul and Silas passed through the territory of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Word in [the province of] Asia.
And when they had come +
opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them.

Acts 16:6-7 AMP

Nothing just happen, when the season comes, every purpose stands. God did not just left the world hanging somewhere in the space and continue with His business. He did not create a man and leave Him to live like the way he felt like it will be good.

He is the designer and author of every human story ever lived. He left His Spirit in this world that He may be the source of life and direct the steps of those who will put their trust in the creator of heaven and earth. Paul and Silas were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Word in Asia, later they tried another place, but the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them.

This shows that the Spirit was in control of everything Paul and Silas did. They were in flesh but they received all the directions of their lives in the spirit from the Holy Spirit of God. Paul and Silas finished their work and they died, but the Spirit did not die and He is still at work even to this day.

This morning, God wants you to let the Spirit of God to direct your steps. There are many things which you wanted to happen to you this year but they did not happen. In one way or another you are disappointed because you asked God to prosper you in those things, but still things went wrong.

I just want to encourage you that God permitted them to go south or not to succeed because He had a better plan in mind. He knew that if you will end up with that man who you were believing God for; you will end up in abusive relationship that's why he did not allow that relationship to stand. Be encouraged knowing the Spirit of God is in control over your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to be submissive in the direction of your Holy Spirit. Knowing that You are doing everything for my own good. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
