SEEKING TO BE CONFORMED?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:1-2 NIV

There is a danger in the Church of today that people wants to compromise to live in the standard of the people of this world. Before many used prayers and fasting to get revelation on how they will lead their ministries and take care the flock of God. Nowadays we are using much experience and sometimes copying even what the world people are doing.

For some being a Preacher is a business opportunity, they want to live exactly as the world people live. I don't have a problem with prosperity because the Bible is all about prosperity of the people of God from Genesis to revelation, but I know that prosperity is not the center of our faith as some have made it to be nowadays.

We take world styles to our platforms, we want to compete with world people that we may also live the lavish lives which many lives and forgetting that there are people who die without knowing Christ. Some of the men and women of God, wants to be seen and appreciated with worldly people rather than the Holy Spirit of God.

This morning, God wants you to place the Holy Spirit to be the center of your life. God wants to let Him have the total control over your life, He will reveal things which the world and all its splendor can not even in thousand years. The Spirit of God is groaning to have a relationship with you, He desires to show you what is meant to be in Christ Jesus.

Your life does not change because you are seeking to be conformed with this world. For us Christian the source of true change is the Spirit of God. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, 2 Corinthians 3:17. Give the room to the Spirit of life, and you will live your life to the fullest. Shalom

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Jehovah God, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm giving a room to your Spirit that He may take control over my life. Holy Spirit have your way in me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
