KNOW YOUR AREA

Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;  if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans 12:6-7 NASB

How amazing seeing someone operates in his God given gift. There are things which I can't even think how I will be able to do; but when someone who is gifted comes you will be amazed on how he will do everything without a sweat. It would take me forever to operate on that kind of standards of such particular gift which my fellow is able to do in seconds.

It is a wise thing to know your area, a place which God called you to minister in the body of Christ. There is a conflict in the church that all people wants particular gifts which seem to be very important and big before the areas of many. Many likes to have one or all of revelations gifts such as prophecy, word of wisdom and word of knowledge.

In the mean time some are in the great struggle praying day and night that they may be used in the area of gifts of power; such as gift of faith, healings and working of miracles. As the result due to the high pressure of performing some have given a chance to devil who has come and counterfeit those gifts in them and many are thinking that they are operating in the Spirit of God.

This morning, God wants you to know that the gifts of Spirit are being distributed to members of the body of Christ each one individually as the Spirit wills. We don't get to chose which kind of gifts we need in order to minister in the body of Christ but the Spirit of God gives us as He wills.

I'm not saying that you cannot pray to God that He may give you ability to operate in some kind of spiritual gifts; but what we need to know that He is the one who knows us better and knows where we will fit for the ministry. If it is the will of God for you to have that gift which you have prayed for; He will give you and you will continue to operate in it without a problem.

Ask God to show your area of ministry this morning, serve Him faithful in that particular area with cheerful heart. God is going to bless you and you will be given the crown of life if your work will sustain fire in that great day which the Lord will judge us according to our works. God bless you.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may show me which area you called me to minister in your body. Help me to minister in my called area with all joy knowing that my work is not in vain before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
