Morning with Ebenezer

JUDGED

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 7:1-2 NIV

We are living in the world that people likes to judge books by looking at their covers. Many of us were born in the judgmental kind of environment. We saw many being judged unfairly in the community starting with our immediate family members.

Many girls were kicked out of their parents houses simply because they got pregnant before marriage and mostly in school and hence their parents couldn't handle it. They told them that they brought shame in the family and they were not supposed to be the party of those families once and for all.

Many of these parents later regretted for what they did to their children but it was too late. Many relationships are being broken down into pieces because one judged another one falsely. I have seen good friends who once were like twins and did everything together like close relatives, having the same motives and shared almost everything came to turn into enemies and rivals simply one of them judged another one falsely.

This morning, God wants to know if you judge you will be judged. He wants you to stop judging His people that you may not enter into devil's list of most judged people. If you sit down to judge others be sure there will be someone who will do the same to you somewhere.

If someone judged you unfairly, said things which hurt you and made you even hate yourself. You will continue to be the slave of that judgement over you unless you choose to forgive that person and let it go. There are some things which happened to us in the past we can not change, but we can change our present by choosing to letting them go.

What happened, happened, you can not go back and change it. Choose to forgive, choose to let it go, let the Spirit of God take control over the situation that He may help you to overcome that bitterness you feel concerning a thing happened to you some years ago. God is a good God, He will heal you if you will let Him in your heart.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Jehovah God, am coming before you by the blood of Jesus. Lord I'm forgiving all who have accused me falsely (mention them). Lord help me to overcome bitterness which I feel every time I remember the incident. Give me power to let go and move on with my life knowing You are a good God and your love for me is unconditional. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
