HOME WITH THE LORD
Yes, we are
fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for
then we will be at home with the Lord.
2
Corinthians 5:8 NLT
For us who
are in Christ Jesus heaven is our home, we are just passengers in this world.
One day after each one of us finish the work that the Lord assigned us to do;
He will call us back home according to His plan for each one of us. If you are
a born again Christian and walking in the way of the Lord; to be absent from
the body is to be present with the Lord.
The question
comes are you real prepared to go home when your time comes? Do you have
confidence to say, for me to live is Christ and to die is gain? One other thing
to ask yourself is if you are doing what the Lord wanted you to do in this
life. Do you serve Him with all your heart or just because you were born in
Christian family and grown up in the church environments?
One thing to
remember always that there is a day which we will stand before the judgment sit
of Christ. We will be judged according to what we did while living in these
earthly bodies; if good or bad and the Lord will reward each one of us
according to our deeds.
This
morning, I just want to encourage you to live this life while preparing
yourself to go home when your time comes. We have many men and women of God who
endured the hardships of this world and at the end went home to be with the
Lord. They lived in the same environments which we are in now but still they
kept the name of the Lord in their hearts.
If there are
some people who crossed on the other side to be with the Lord; then we don't
have any excuse but to be faithful until death that we may go to be the Lord
too. I know while we are in this tent of the flesh, we have burdens and so we
complain. But this should not be the reason to prevent us living for the Lord
until the day we die. May God give you strength to continue being faithful
until death.
****Morning

prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear
