Morning with Ebenezer

GIFT OF PRAYER

Brothers, pray for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:25 ESV

During Christmas season people throughout the world are exchanging gifts and get to meet their loved ones in different parts of the world. For some Christmas is like a culture celebration; and they don't take to heart the real meaning of celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus and Savior of this world.

For us who are in Christ Jesus, know that without Christ we would be the slaves of sin until this day. Thanks to God who sent His only begotten son, who died for our sins and set us free from sin and save us from second death. You can use this season praying for saints throughout the world and particularly those whom are in your circle of influence.

We have many brethren who came to us and shared with us their fears and troubles of this life. Many times we encouraged them and made a promise that we will spend time to pray for them. But as days go by many of us have forgotten our promise of prayers; and let those precious people of God fight the enemy alone and hence weaken their spiritual strength and stability.

This morning, I just want to remind you to go back and fulfill your promise of prayers. You never know maybe your prayers are the ones which are needed in order for that person to get a breakthrough from God; and get out from his/her misery. One thing I know is that prayer works and it is a wonderful gift than any other gift which a person can be given.

Use this day to pray for someone, pray for their spiritual strength, finances, health, relationships, education, ministry and whatsoever the Lord will lead you to pray for. God will hear your prayers and answer them according to what you have prayed for them. God bless you, have a wonderful Christmas.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, give me strength to pray for all people who you want me to pray for. Knowing my prayer will work in their favor. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
