THE PROTECTOR

I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.

John 17:11 NIV

We know if the country sent her ambassador to a far country, will always send with all means to keep him safe. The Bible calls us the ambassadors for Christ in this fallen world; our home is in heaven and we are just passengers in this world. When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ and join the family of God; we are no longer living the life according to our own will but to the will of whom saved us.(2 Cor 5:20)

God becomes responsible to ensure our safety both in physical and spiritual ways. We become Christ personal representatives who stand in proclaiming the Kingdom of God to a fallen humanity. By preaching about the power of the cross, repentance of sins, the blood of Jesus, Holy Spirit, deliverance, healing, miracles of Jesus and living a godly life while waiting for the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ.

People may rise up make weapons to fight against you, but their weapons will not defeat you. Some people will say things against you, but anyone who speaks against you will be proved wrong, Isaiah 54:17. The Lord knows that they will rise people who will come against you because of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Some people may says bad words and condemn you for many false statements because you have kept the word of His patient; but against all odds the Lord will protect you from them all.

This morning, I just want to encourage you to continue doing the work of the Lord with boldness. If the Lord has called you in the intercession ministry; continue interceding for the body of Christ without fearing the attacks from the enemy. If you are a preacher, preach the Gospel with integrity knowing the Lord will reward your work on that day.

No matter what you have been called to do in the body of Christ, continue doing it knowing the Lord is responsible for your well being. You will not die but live, and proclaim what the Lord has done, Psalm 118:17. The enemy will not kill you or your family before your time; you will prosper in everything because you have kept your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. May the blood of Jesus cover you and your family.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I'm asking that You may continue protecting me and my family. I surrender all my fears into your hands, please give me strength to continue in this journey of life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
