Morning with Ebenezer

JESUS PRAYED

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:  Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Luke 6:12-15 NIV

Jesus Christ is the best example of a prayer warrior ever lived. He prayed almost before doing anything when he was in his flesh; He was God and a man at the same time. He had to depend on Holy Spirit for direction and comfort in the time of need; and that wouldn't possible without living the life of prayer. Prayer ensured direct connection with his heavenly Father.

He taught his disciple to pray, he prayed for himself and prayed for the coming church in this world [who are me and you]. This Jesus sets an example for us, that in order to live the victorious life on this earth, we need to pray. We need to give ourselves completely to the Father through prayers and trust Him with all our hearts, that He will meet all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Living the life of prayer is not an option for a christian who desires to have the victory over the enemy; but it is must! You will never be able to overcome the lusts of the flesh by words of philosophy or theories of men. You need power which will help you to say No to sin and Yes to Holiness! And that power is not found in books, televisions, internet or people but that power is found in Jesus Christ through his Holy Spirit.

This morning, I want to encourage you to look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith. If he prayed, fasted and believed God for everything while he was in this earth, you also need to do the same. We see the impact of Jesus ministry which was under the foundation of his continuously prayers; so we will see also your life being changed completely if you will build the habit of prayer in you.

It is possible to live without doing sex before marriage; if you will commit your body to be living sacrifice to the Lord during your prayers. It is possible to be faithful in your marriage, if you will build your house on the rock of ages, Jesus Chris Son of the Living God. Start your day by prayer, keep praying during the whole day in your spirit and finish it by prayer too. God bless you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to build the habit of praying in the Spirit always. That I may increase my faith in You, and overcome every wiles of the devil. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
