FAITH IN HIS NAME

 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

Acts 3:16 NIV

There are two types of faith, we have what we call general faith or saving faith; which every believer has and which is also a gift, Ephesians 2:8. The faith that you are saved by is a gift of God, but it is not one of the nine gifts of the Spirit. Then we have what we call the gift of faith, or special faith which is a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit whereby a believer is empowered with special faith, or wonder-working faith, and it is beyond simple saving faith.

The general faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God,(Rom 10:17). But the gift of faith is a gift of the Spirit to the believer in order that he might receive miracles. The working of miracles in other hand, is a gift of the Spirit given to the believer that he might work miracles. In Acts Chapter 3, we see Peter healed the lame beggar; here Peter used his working of miracles gift to perform that miracle; while the lame was empowered by supernatural gift of faith to receive that miracle from Peter and John.

Every believer has been given a measure of faith, Rom 12:3. This is a faith which needed to believe God to have your needs met according to His Word. But this special faith, is the one which is being given to the believer as the Spirit wills (1 Cor 12:8,9). All of these two kinds of faith can be manifested in the life of a believer, depending to the faith which he has in the name of Jesus. It takes general faith in the name of Jesus for someone to be saved, and believe God for his daily needs to be met; and also it takes faith in the name of Jesus for someone to receive or perform a certain miracle.

This morning, God wants you to have faith in the name of His Son Jesus. He wants you to use the measure of faith which has been placed in you since the day you where born again to have your needs met according to His Word. If you have been given the supernatural gift of faith as the Spirit wills, then use it to receive that company which you see in the future, ministry, church and the like[ visions and dreams for your future], and to overcome that storm which has been hitting your boat(life) all of this time.

Knowledge does not release power, but faith in the name of Jesus releases the supernatural power of Holy Spirit in someone life's. If you want to see your prayers being answered, then have faith in the name of Jesus. If you want to see your life being changed then have faith in the name of Jesus. If you want to see your family being saved, then have faith in the name of Jesus. If you want a godly fearing husband or wife in your life, then have faith in the name of Jesus. If you want your spouse to remain faithful in your matrimony, then have faith in the name of Jesus. Have faith today, have faith now but not in anything else but the in name of Jesus Christ Son of the Living God.Shalom!

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to have faith in your name. That I may use it in my prayers and to full believe that every time I will mention it; something extremely great happens more than my normal mind can comprehend. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
