LET PEACE RULE

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.And be thankful.

Colossians 3:15 NIV

It may happen you have been given a certain word by someone, who claims is from the Lord. Soon after you received it, the peace which was inside of you disappeared and cause you to be confused. Then you started asking yourself, if it was the Lord who spoke through that brethren or not.

Maybe you have been asking for direction from the Lord, you shared your matter with some brethren; and when they came back each one of them had different answer. You thought you will get help but you got confused. Then you started thinking maybe the Lord, has forsaken you! Why you have prayed faithful and fasted but you end up with confusion instead of the clear answer?

The Bible says, God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints, [1 Cor 14:33]. Any kind of message, word, prophecy which brought confusion instead of peace inside of you, it was not from the Lord. When God comes with a word, regardless the message in it, whether for encouragement, strengthen or comfort will come with peace. 

This morning, God wants you to know that is the God of peace. He wants you to let the peace of Christ to rule in your heart. If  you have made a certain decision and immediately you found the peace within you has gone, it is the sign that God was not in your decision and you need to reconsider your decision. And ask Him to help you to decide according to His will in your life.

Do not be afraid with so called prophets who come with threat that the Lord has given them the message of destruction. If they come from the Lord, whatsoever they say will come to pass but if not, you will discover their lies soon. Remember that Jesus is the prince of peace, he rules in peace, and whatsoever comes from him is of peace.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to differentiate between what comes from You, and the one which comes from the devil. Help me to make sound decision according to your Word, that I may walk in your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
