Morning with Ebenezer

STONES WILL CRY OUT

When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:

“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Luke 19:37-40 NIV

Jesus entered Jerusalem as king who riding on the donkey as prophesied in Zachariah 9:9. The crowd rejoiced and praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen. Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, ''Teacher, rebuke your disciple!'' Jesus answered, ''I tell you, ''he replied, ''if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.''

The stones will cry out, He meant if the people who were present in that time, would not praise God for sending His Son Jesus. God will even rise those stones to shout for joy for the work which He had done for mankind. In the East of Jordan River near Kerith Ravine, God commanded the ravens to feed Prophet Elijah and that he will drink water from the stream. The birds [ravens] brought Elijah bread and meat every morning and evening, and he drank water from the stream. [ 1 Kings 17:2-6]

In our daily life, we want some people to be there for us, to help us and appreciate us the way we are and what we do. Most of all, we want some people to be able to love us as the way we love them, but most of the time it comes the opposite. We may cry out and think that God has forgotten us, He don't care about our pain and hunger for love.

This morning, God wants you to know that, if those people will not do what they suppose to do in your life, the stones will cry out. If God ordered the ravens to feed Elijah in the middle of no where. God will send someone to help you in the middle of your darkness. If the one who you expected that he will be the great help for you, and he has failed you. You need to know that the purpose of God in your life will not be stopped by a man.

God will make stones to cry out, God will send people who you did not expect to help you to fulfill the purpose which God has predestined for you since the creation of this world. God will open doors which no one thought that they will opened for you. God will cause you to meet with people who you never dreamed that you will know them in your life. The stones will cry out, keep trusting in God, He is faithful. He has not done with you yet!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may send right people in this time of my life, who will help me to fulfill the purpose which you had for me. Help me to let go who I wanted to be a part of me, but help me to accept those who you will bring for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
