THE SAME SPIRIT

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Romans 8:11 NIV

The Bible start by saying; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty,darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the SPIRIT of God was hovering over the waters, [Genesis 1:1-2, NIV]. Later in verse 3, God started speaking the word and the Spirit of God who once moved over the waters, brought it to reality. In other words it was the Spirit of God who gave life to the former earth, which was formless, empty,  and darkness was over the surface of the deep.

Later 4000 years after the creation of the earth; He gave life to Jesus who laid three days and nights in the womb of the earth, and the third day He was risen by the power of the Spirit of God. This Spirit was in Jesus in full measure, He was the one who performed all those signs and wonders through Jesus. Later 50 days after the death and resurrection of Christ, this Spirit came upon the first church in the day of Pentecost. From that moment until now, the church has never been the same again.

The same Spirit which was in Jesus, is with us now. This Spirit transforms, makes whole, heals  diseases, delivers, set people free bondages, strengthen the weak, remove the guilt of sin, heals the broken hearted, perform miracles and wonders through men and women of God. Empower the ministers of the Gospel to preach it with all boldness,  all of these are the works of the Spirit. 

This morning, God wants you to start depending in His Spirit. The Spirit of God is the one who will direct you to your future spouse but not men. He is the one who will give you the wisdom to live with your husband or wife but not reality shows, books, or friends. The Spirit of God is the one who will give you the direction of your ministry and the purpose which you have been called for not your Pastor. He will show the way of life, and the path to success. I love the Spirit of God, Hallelujah!

This Spirit is the one who gives me a new message, every new morning, I love the Spirit of God. He has been a friend who is closer than a brother to me. He is in me and works through me, Glory be to God in heaven. I dare you to try Him today, make Him your everything. Ask Him to start this week with you, to show you what you suppose to do and how will you do it. He will not leave you alone because He came from heaven just for you; to help you and to be with you forever. GLORY!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may baptize me in the power of your Spirit this morning. God send your Spirit in my life, that He may be the source of total transformation in my spirit. Help me to hear and understand his voice, and to act according to his direction. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
