Morning with Ebenezer

TRUST IN THE LORD

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

The Bible teaches us to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding. Many are willing to trust people more than they trust in God. We are living in the age where there is no fear of the Lord; and people who have put their trust in God are being seen as insane or people who don’t know what they are doing.

God speaks to us in the book of Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. If we will totally surrender our lives to God; He will give us the expected outcome in latter days of our lives.

Sometimes we trust God in certain things but we tend to handle other things by ourselves. We don't give God a chance to direct us and show us direction in life. People encourage us to follow our hearts, which is a good thing; but we as Christians need to follow the leading of the Spirit of God.

This morning, I want to remind you to put your trust in the Lord. I know that you have heard this a lot, but is essential to remind each other about the importance of trusting God. In sickness and health learn to trust in God; in riches or poor learn to trust in God. Learn to trust God in all season of your life, and God will always come for your rescue.

God will never leave you or forsake you if you will trust Him. He will protect you and your loved ones. If you choose to serve Him, He will honor you and give you a life of peace and prosperity.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to trust You with all of my heart. I want to walk in your will, help me to do you will through the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
