Morning with Ebenezer

EXAMINE YOUR WAYS

Let us search out and examine our ways,
And turn back to the Lord;
Let us lift our hearts and hands
To God in heaven.

Lamentations 3:40-41 NKJV

In this life we do things that most of the time doesn't please our Lord Jesus Christ. We all struggle with sin, and sometimes we make decisions that are against the will of God in our lives. We tend to make friends with people who don't know God; and who end up influencing us in a wrong way.

The Prophet Jeremiah encourages us to search out and examine our ways. This includes our way of living, they way we handle our relationships with others and amount of love we show to those who don't profit us anything in life.

When we ask ourselves questions concerning our ways of life and discover there are some areas which we fall short. Then we need to turn back to the Lord, by lifting our hearts and hands to God in heaven. Lifting our hearts and hands is the sign of surrendering to His will; and admitting that we are wrong and we are seeking His forgiveness.

This morning, I want to encourage you to search out and examine your ways. Do some soul searching and examine your life as a Christian. Do you live according to the will of the Father? Do you walk in love and help others as the way you are supposed to do? Is your life a living testimony or you just live like anyone out there?

If you have found something wrong in your life, go to God with repentance. Ask the Lord to forgive you, and if there is anything that is beyond your control; let say you have a weakness that you can't control. Surrender that weakness before the Lord and ask Him to help you overcome it; He is faithful God, He will give you victory over it.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer...

Dear Father, forgive me for where I have sinned against You. I surrender my life and everything that take place in it before You. Help me to live according to your will in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
