Morning with Ebenezer

WE NEED EACH OTHER

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:34-35 NKJV

When Jesus started His earthly ministry, He chose 12 disciples to help Him in the ministry. He walked with those twelve until the end expect for the one who betray Him that the Scriptures may be fulfilled.

When Jesus was going back to the Father, He said to His disciples these words.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19. He needed His disciples to go to the whole world to preach the Gospel, and bring healing to the suffering world.

In the Church of Jesus Christ we need each other. Pastor needs prayer warriors, praise and worship team, choirs, ushers, and people who will support him mentally and financially. We need our fellow brethren to pray for us, encourage us in the times of troubles and teach us thing we haven't experienced yet in life.

This morning, I want you to know that we need each other. You need your neighbor; you need your fellow workers, your bosses and different members of your life. Everyone that God has put in your life is of importance. That's why you need to have a good attitude and make sure you treat each one of them with respect.

There are people who will talk behind your back; and sometimes give you an attitude. You need to develop the ability of being calm and treat them right regardless how they treat you. Jesus gave us a new commandment that we should love one another, as He has loved us. By doing what the Lord has taught us all people will know that we are His disciples, if we will love one another. I want to encourage you to love your neighbor, that you may fulfill the law of Christ.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me. I'm asking that You may help me to love others as You have commanded me. Help to treat everyone right and give respect where respect is due. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
