Morning with Ebenezer

STANDSTILL

He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Psalm 46:10 NIV

In life we face a lot of discouragements. Sometimes we all need the word of encouragement that we may pass through the day. That's why we tend to be offended when people speak harsh words on us especially early in the morning.

Sometimes our bosses or loved ones tend to cause pain on us by their words or actions. Life comes with different storms; it comes with different challenges and its package of sorrow. In life many things comes against our exceptions, and sometimes we face betrayal from people who we once deeply trusted.

I have loved ones who had lost people who were so dear to them. Some of them lost their parents, siblings; and others lost their spouses when they needed them most. While others are complaining why they didn't get an increase in their salaries; there others who don't have even jobs. While some mistreat their children; we have some couples who would give anything to hold one of their own.

This morning, standstill, and know that He is God. No matter what you are going through in life right now; remember there is God. Things may seem to be out of hands; but you need to know that God is still in control. You may feel that all your plans are falling apart and there is no way to restore your former glory; but you need to know that God has not forgotten you.

Donnie Mcclurkin in his song Stand sings: “Don't you dare give up through the storm, Stand through the rain. Through the hurt. Yeah, through the pain. Don't you bow, and don't you bend. Don't give up, no, don't give in. Hold on, just be strong, God will step in and it won't be long.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, no matter what I'm going through in life right now You will still be my God. I surrender everything under your care; knowing that all things will work together for my own good. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
