Morning with Ebenezer

GET UP

The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.
But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.

Proverbs 24:16 NLT

I have met people who felt like they were failures because they fail to attain certain things in life. Some did not perform as they wanted in school; others did not achieve the level of development that they hoped they will reach in a certain period of time.

There are people who experienced few disappointments in their love life and end up giving up on finding love. Some started businesses which did not give good results in the beginning; and they gave up on them because they did not see profit. If they would have waited and learn better ways of doing their businesses; they would have ended up making profits that they once anticipated.

Our Bible teaches us that a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again. If you are child of God, falling is a part of life. Sometimes it may take more than three or four attempts to get the results you want in life. One thing you need to learn is that whenever you fall in life, you need to encourage yourself to rise up that you may continue with a journey of life.

This morning, I want to encourage you to get up and continue with a journey of life. Stop labeling yourself as a failure, rejected, small or stupid. You need to start thinking like a child of Most High God; you need have Christ like minded and start to walk in the victory that God has already given you in Christ.

Sometimes life greatest lessons are learnt when we fall. So stop accusing yourself for not achieving certain things in the past. You have a room to get up and achieve more today and in your future. What you need is a good preparation and trusting God that He will lead you all the way to your victory.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to get up again whenever I fall. Help me to continue with my journey of salvation knowing that in Christ Jesus I have the victory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
