FAILURE

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Proverbs 19:21 NIV

Have you ever tried something in the past and failed. I guess the answer is yes, we all have failed doing some things in some point in life. Sometimes failure can be so painful but it always has the way to teach us to perform better in the future.

There are people who tried to do some things and when they failed once, they feared to try again. Some people tried over and over again doing same things but they kept failing them. This doesn't mean that they don't have ability to pass whatsoever they are pursing; but sometimes it’s a message for them that they are heading the wrong way.

I believe that God created everyone with something to contribute in this world. Not all can be doctors, businessmen, engineers or accountants. We also need teachers, designers, carpenters, policemen and alike. So don't feel bad if you can't be like so and so doctor or so and so something because still there is a purpose for you. 

This morning, I want to encourage not giving up in life. If you have failed in some things it doesn't mean that you won't be good in other things. I know you had many plans for your life, but you need to learn to let the purpose of the Lord to prevail. You may be working hard to become like one of your family members because he is successful in what he does. While you are doing this, you may forget that God has given him a different assignment in life.

You won't be happy in life by just becoming someone in the society. You will experience the true joy of life if you will do what the Lord created you to do. If you have been called to be a certain person in life, even it may take hundred years for you to accomplish that; know that God will strengthen you until the end. 

Know that failure is a part of the process so don't give up on your dreams or on the things you feel like God is calling you to no matter how hard they are. In the mean time don't do things because some of your friends are doing or you want to become like certain people. You need to be yourself and do what God wants you to do in life.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, give me strength to get up and continue whenever I fail in life. I want to fulfill your purpose in my life, help me to serve the original purpose of my being according to your plans over my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
