Morning with Ebenezer

CONFESS THE WORD

You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

Job 22:28 AMP

The Bible teaches us to walk by faith and not by sight. It teaches us to fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. It teaches us to fix our eyes on Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith. (2 Corinthians 5:7, 4:18, Hebrews 12:2)

Many times we fix our eyes on our problems and present circumstances. We tend to look on the things that are bothering us and people who make our lives a living hell. Sometimes we tend to look on our insecurities and imperfections instead of looking on Jesus Christ.

We tend to look on how people think about us; and how we can please people instead of God. Sometimes we make quick decisions because we lack enough faith that if we wait; God will meet our needs on time. We end up making choices out of fear that come with a price; that may be too high for us to pay.

This morning, confess the word of God over your life. Declare and decree blessings over your life, speak good things for your future. Decide what you want to become in life, decree how you want to see yourself in ten years from now. If you will do it by faith, all those things that you have said shall be established for you.

Death and life are in the power of your tongue, if you speak life. Life will come to you, and if you speak death, death will never leave your house. Change your life by changing your words; change your future by changing your thoughts on it. The light of God's favor shall shine upon your ways, if you will completely put your trust in Him in all the days of your life. (Proverbs 18:21)

****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to confess your word over my life. Help me to live by faith and not by sight for the rest of my days. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
