Morning with Ebenezer

HERE IS A PRICE TO PAY

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV

Prophet Isaiah described how Jesus was on his way to the cross. He says Jesus was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and who suffered a lot of pain and sickness. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. (Isaiah 53:3)

Jesus paid a price for our salvation, He had to shade His blood that He may take away our sins and intercede for our rebellion. Since our Lord suffered persecution, we will also pass through the same path before being glorified. There is a price to pay for staying away from sin, there is a price to pay to confess Jesus as the Lord and Savior before the people of the world.

Most of Christian give in to compromise because they are not willing to pay the price of  the truth. There are some people in the church who wants both the praise of men and God. They dilute the Gospel of the truth by bringing in theories of men; and translate the everlasting Word of God for their advantage. They fail to stand for the truth for the fear of loosing their influence and allies who support their diluted Gospel.

This morning, God wants you to know that the friend of the world is His enemy. "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money, Matthew 6:24. If you will decide to serve God you need to accept all the consequences like wise if you will side with the world.

Friends may desert you, family may reject you and despised with all people for the sake of His Name. But do not ever give up, God has prepared true friends ahead of you, there is a new family waiting for you. If you are being rejected and suffered for the sake of His name, Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.( Matthew 5:12)

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I'm asking that You may give me strength to continue in this journey of salvation. Help me to be strong in difficulties and trust you in all of my dilemmas. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
