Morning with Ebenezer

JESUS IS THE WONDERFUL COUNSELOR

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 AMP

God gave a vision of Jesus to the Eagle Prophet Isaiah 700 years before Jesus was born. God showed Isaiah that a child will be born by a virgin, who later he said that the government will be upon His shoulders. God said to Isaiah that the government will be upon his shoulders;  He meant that Jesus will be the ruler, which was made clear in the book of Revelation that when Jesus comes back in the second time, He will rule nations by the rod of Iron.( Isaiah 7:14, Revelation 19:15)

One of the works which Prophet Isaiah foretold that Jesus will do; he said that Jesus will be a Wonderful Counselor. Counselor is a person trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems. Synonyms for Counselor are counsellor - adviser - counsel - consultant - lawyer.  This means Jesus will be responsible in answering all life's difficult questions and showing the direction which men should take.

Some of us in one way or another have been hurt because we went somewhere for advice; and later we discovered that what we shared with those people in whom we trust came out. Other we were given bad advice which caused great loss and destruction of good relationship which we had with other people. Through those experiences, we find ourselves unable to trust nobody, and many times to fear even to share our stuffs with others because we wouldn't afford being hurt again in the same area.

This morning, I got news for you. God wants to reveal Jesus to you as the Wonderful Counselor, the word Wonderful means capable of eliciting wonders, astonishing, admirable and excellent. Jesus has all those good qualities and more, He is nothing like men, who you can tell them your secret at night and they will go and announce them to the public in the morning. 

God wants you to start trusting Jesus with your stuffs, now is the time for you to start asking Him for advice. This is the day for you to start seeking His will and listen to His Word inside your heart. You will be amazed on what Jesus will do with your life, the time you will start sharing with Him your thoughts and plans. He will surely makes everything good and wonderful in His time just for you. God loves you continue keeping up in faith.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord am asking that You may help me to share all my thoughts and plans to You knowing that in every situation I will a blessed consultation from You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
