Morning with Ebenezer

READY TO HELP


God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.

Psalm 46:1-3 NIV

Day after day as we continue approaching that great day of the Lord. We hear many bad news from different sources. The news about earth-quakes, wars and rumors of wars, killings and increase in the rate of crimes in the society. Then the fear about tomorrow starts rising, questions about our safety and well being become our first agenda in life.

Some we had put our trust in the the politicians, great men and great economic systems.As the result most of politicians found themselves unable to do exactly as they promised, most of world powerful economic systems fall down for the past 10 years. This shows that we need to put our trust in a greater force which governor everything under the sun and that force is God himself.

This morning, I want just to encourage you that our God is our refuge and strength, always read to help in the time of trouble. I want you to know that God will be there for you, even if the whole world will forsake you.  The God who is able to save your spirit from the second death and hell; He is also able to give you peaceful life in the middle of your storms.

Stop worrying about the future, the God who was in the past before you were born, has also gone in your future and make all things to work together for good just for you. We don't trust the reports which media gives us about the present world situation but we trust in the report which the Bible gave us from the beginning. 

If the Bible said, God will bless us, it means He will do no matter what the economy looks like. If the Bible said, God will send his angels to protect us from every kind of danger, it means He will send them to make sure that no one hurt His anointed ones. Keep trusting God, keep believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and the God of mercy and grace will bless you and gives you favor everywhere you go.

Pray this prayer with me and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord am asking that You may give me the strength to obey your Word and do as you have instructed in it. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
