Morning with Ebenezer

HUMBLE YOURSELF

He raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
 He seats them with princes,
    with the princes of his people.
 He settles the childless woman in her home
    as a happy mother of children.
Praise the Lord.

Psalm 113:7-9 NIV

God has a tendency of taking nobodies and make them somebodies. He lifts the poor out of the dirt and rescues beggars from the garbage dump. He puts them in important positions, giving them a place among the leaders of his people.

He has taken many from the lower positions and put them in the higher positions in life. He has given children to the woman who home is empty, and makes her a happy mother. He is the one who decides who will rise and who will fall.

Apostle James says Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. If we learn to humble ourselves before the Lord, and live the life of humility. God will lift us up in every area of our lives. He will take us places where no man can take us, and help us to use all what He has deposited inside of us.

This morning, I want to encourage you to humble yourself by the side of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. Remember to walk in humbleness; you don't have to prove to people how God you are or how much you know. If God wants people to know you, He will make a way for them to know you.

Sometimes we struggle and do desperate things that we may remain at the top or be known by others. Let the Lord lift you in due time, walk in His will and stop lifting yourself. Your humbleness should be seen in your words, actions and your life in its totality. God will lift you up if you will humble yourself and seats you with princes, with the princes of your people.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me where I have lift myself up. Help me to live a humble life and humble myself before You in all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
