Morning with Ebenezer

FEELING DISCOURAGED?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

Have you ever reached a point in life where you are so discouraged with your situation in such a way you feel like prayers have no effect? I have met some people in my walk with the Lord who faced storms in life and it reached a point they did not want to do anything with God or anything which involves worship.

Poorly many blamed God for their misery and troubles in life. Some have suffered beyond our understanding and at the end of the day God was the one to blame. Without knowing all they experienced was the work of the devil and Christ came to set us free and save us from all worldly misery. One day Evengelist Reinhard Bonnke said these words:

In fact the Bible as a whole does not display marked toleration of suffering. Unlike all other religions which demand resignation, Bible faith protests against illnesses and pains. In the first five books of the New Testament - that is more than half of it - Jesus leads an attack upon physical suffering as the work of the devil. Christ displayed no patience with the world’s misery.

This morning, God wants you to know that He sent His Son that you may have life and have it more abundantly. His Son did not come that you may continue living in your father's father misery, laying in your generation poverty or being possessed with the same demons which has been there in every generation of your family. He came that you may have total victory in every aspect of your life.

Don't be discouraged with your present situation, be encouraged with the fact that God does not change. If He helped you yesterday, He will not prevent Himself to do again today! He is faithful, He is merciful, He is long suffering, He cares about you and He is more than willing to help with everything that bothers you. Have faith!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord help me to trust in You with all my heart, that I may lean not on my own understanding. Teach me to submit to you in all my ways, knowing You will make my paths straight. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
