Morning with Ebenezer

YOUR ACTIONS SPEAK

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

Acts 26:20 NIV

When our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to Saul who later changed his to Paul in the road to Damascus. He started preaching in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should change their hearts and lives and turn back to God. And told them to do what would show that they had really changed.

Here Paul was telling people that if you are born again; you should prove it by your deeds. He knew that being born again was not only based in going to church but it included changing your attitude, actions and character in life.

He knew that actions speak louder than words. He knew that someone can say something and do another different thing. We have many in the Church of Jesus Christ who claim to be born again but they are still living they old life styles. They claim that they are born again but still living the same life of sin which they once forsook.

This morning, God wants you to demonstrate your repentance by your deeds. If you were the man or woman of vengeance before you knew the Lord. This is the hour which you need to stop paying evil to evil but instead allow the anger of the Lord to repay them.

Live the life which you were called in the Lord Jesus Christ. Stop imitating the lives of people of this world for the sake of acceptance and friendship. Live according to the word of God and let the Lord lead you to the direction which He wants you to take in His time. Just remember in everything your attitude and character matters and are the ones which distinguish you from non-believers.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord help me to live the life according to your word. Help me live what I preach, and to preach what I live. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
