Morning with Ebenezer

FEELING TEMPTED?

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV

Temptations have its way of knocking you down; putting you low until you feel like there is no getting up again. Temptations put a black cloud on your eyes that you may not see the light which is found in the word of God. Temptations make people suffer, cause them to lack sleep and be restless in life.

Temptations do not last but God's people do. You will not be tempted always and you will not be down forever. When the devil plans on tempting you, always the Lord will have the rescue plan in mind. God will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability; He will always provide a rescue plan for you to get out of that temptation if you will be intact in following His Spirit.

When you are in the temptation all the words of encourage you have ever heard from people may not sound effective during that time. You may try to go and read the word of God and still get nothing out of it and get back to your miserable situation. The devil will try his level best to insure you that there is nothing which you can do and that you need to accept the defeat then mend your wounds.

This morning, God wants you to know that all things work together for good for those who love Him, to those are called according to His purpose. He wants you to know that there is no permanent temptation in life. What you are passing through now is only seasonal; and soon that season will pass.(Romans 8:28)

Try your level best no to make decisions in the middle of the storm. Keep your head up; seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth; and God will see you through your situation.(Colossians 3:1-2)

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I just want to ask You to be my strength the time I'm being tempted. Help me to overcome every temptation which will come in my way for your own glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
