Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,

In your former way of conduct, where you were lead by the old man(old self) you used to do your things, make your decisions and plan for your priorities in life according to your own understanding.
The new man(new self) whom was brought by the Holy Spirit after knowing God in your life; directs you to start putting God first before anything else.
For the long-lasting prosperity and permanent peace in your life, you have to avoid depending on your own understanding and in everything ask God first to show you a direction.
By doing so, you will get a prudent husband or wife if you are in need of one, God will direct you on how you can can be a successful person by using small resources which you have now in life...
