Now the LORD had said to Abram:
''Get out your country,
From your family
And from your father's house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
Genesis 12:1-2(NKJV)
When God called Abram who later He called him Abraham[Gen 17:5, 15], he did not know God from the beginning but he trusted God who created the heaven and the earth that will fulfill what He promised.
Abram, his wife and Lot hid brother's son, journeyed all the way from Haran till they came to the land of Canaan present Israel.
It may happen that God is calling you to leave your father's house, to change from one field to another field of life, to let go that broken relationship of yours or to change your life style.
You need to trust God and do it by faith as Abram later Abraham did, and God will lead you all the way...
