These words of Jesus were called the teachings of the mountain, which Jesus intended to give His disciples the clear picture on how He wanted His church to be in this world.
He taught the that they are salt and light of the world, but if they will lose their saltiness and no longer shine into the darkness they will be less profitable before men.
In our days, the church has lost her power, no longer we see the true picture of the church born of the Holy Spirit and instead many of us compromise the Gospel of Jesus with the customs of this world.
We need to change, the world is passing and the day of our salvation is very near compared when we started believe.

JEHOVAH God, am coming before You by the blood of Jesus.Please help me to be salt and light before my fellow men by doing the good works as it is written in Your Word.In Jesus' Name, Amen.
