But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:7(NKJV)
The story behind in the above scripture was about Samuel the prophet who God sent him to Jesse's house[father of David] to anoint David to become a future King of Israel after the fall of Saul.
When Samuel reached there, he tried to choose David brothers by considering their outward appearance but the LORD rejected them because He looks at the heart.
This morning, God wants you to know that He has chosen you among your family, friends, nation and race to carry His name and to stand before Him simply because He has seen your heart from the beginning and He wants to use you despite the all weaknesses which are in you...
