Morning with Ebenezer

OLD IS GOLD

Remember your former leaders, who spoke God's message to you. Think back on how they lived and died, and imitate their faith.

Hebrews 13:7 GNT

There are people who came in our lives, these people taught us the word of God, prayed for us and warn us in love whenever we went wrong in life. These people desired to see us prosper and grow in faith more than them, they treated us with love and respect and keep up with all our arrogance and ignorance which we had.

Some of these people are dead but some are still alive. We saw their walk with God, the way they trusted him in everything they faced. These people once we were with them they seemed to be like everybody else, but when they departed from our lives we came to understand their real value. God brought them for a purpose, and when their purpose was fulfilled, God took them away from us.

The Bible teach us to remember them, the way they lived their lives, the outcome of of their well spent lives, imitate their faith. This include the conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, and the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through Christ Jesus.

This morning, God wants you to remember your former leaders. God wants you to remember their confidence and boldness towards the Gospel and the faith they had in this life. If God helped them to overcome sin, live the life of faith and grant them the peace which passes all understanding! It will be the same to you, if you will be faithful like them in your walk with God.

God was with those powerful men and women of God who taught you about God in early stage of your life. God will be with you too if you will learn to depend upon him with all your heart. Do not give up on God, because God won't give up on you.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord help me to learn to live like your former warriors of faith, who some them are still living right now! Knowing if they succeed to walk with you, I will too!. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
