Morning with Ebenezer

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.”

1 Samuel 17:34-36 NKJV

There are periods in life which God allow us to go through them because He is preparing us for what He wants us to become in the future. There are silent times, tribulation hours, when you may find yourself facing difficulties and temptations in every corner of your life. Most of us do not understand that these temptation periods are as precious as those wonderful times which we believe God them in life.

Before David killed Goliath, God had to let him keep his father's sheep. While he was doing that, lion or bear who tend to took away the lamb out of the flock; David went out after it and struck it, and he delivered the lamb from it's mouth. And if it arose against him, he could caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. What a courage!

God had to make David to start in the humble beginning. He built his courage of war in small things. God knew the time will come when he will face Goliath; so God started preparing him for that great turning point of his life from the early moments

in his life. David did disperse the day of small beginnings, and that result he as able to stand in the greatest day in his life.

There are some of us who are passing through some things, some are very painful and difficult even to explain them. Some of us we can't understand why we are passing through them. Every-time we measure them by using our carnal mind,  and asking ourselves why we are in the midst of them? we can't real understand the purpose why God allowed them.

This morning, I have a word for you." God is taking you somewhere, so do not disperse the humble beginnings.'' You may now not understand why you are passing through those things in life, but God knows why! He knows that you will need that course in order to pass the future life exams which will change the whole history of your life. Stop complaining, keep trusting God in everything. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns, Philippians 1:6.
Be encouraged!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Lord help me to be able to accept all courses which you want me to take in life. That when my hour of exam comes, I may be able to pass in flying colors. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
