The Word breakthrough means:- an offensive trust that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line in warfare, an act or instance of breaking an obstruction or a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique. A breakthrough happens when God takes you from one place to another or from a lower level to another higher level in life. In order for us Christians to get breakthrough in different aspects of life we need to pray in such a way we will be able to break and get what God wants us to have in life.
The Bible says our war is not against fresh and blood, but is against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:11b. This means there is a force in the heavenly places which is the spiritual realm preventing the children of God to gain access to their breakthroughs. This lead us to have another type of prayer which is quite different from other daily prayers.
Daniel was praying for the breakthrough of children of Israel when they were in exile in Babylon and he fasted and prayed constantly for twenty-one days. Later the Angel of the Lord came and told him that God answered his prayer from the very first day but the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia wrestled with Gabriel that he may not send Daniel answers for twenty-one days. As Daniel continued praying earnestly to God, it gave a chance to Michael to come and help Gabriel to fight with the kings of Persia and finally Daniel got his answers, Dan 9:12-14.
This morning you may be having king of Persia in your way to your breakthrough. May be you need spiritual breakthrough you want to know God in an extra-ordinary way, may be you need a financial breakthrough, breakthrough in your marriage, relationship, education or even in your loved ones that they may know the Lord as you do. I have a good news for you that you need to change the type of prayer which you have been asking God for your breakthrough.
You need to have a earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer from today which later will bring tremendous power available enough to cause your breakthrough to happen, James 5:16 b. While you are doing that kind of prayer( with all others prayer) remember you need to be holy in all your conducts that you may give chance God to prove Himself faithful through your prayers.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Now am asking that you may give me a persistent heart of keep on praying and pushing in my knees until I get my breakthrough. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
