Morning with Ebenezer

THE POWER OF APPRECIATION

Then one of them, upon seeing that he was cured, turned back, recognizing and thanking andpraising God with a loud voice; And he fell prostrate at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him [over and over]. And he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, Were not [all] ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was there no one found to return and to recognize and give thanks and praise to God except this alien? And He said to him, Get up and go on your way. Your faith (your trust and confidence that spring from your belief in God) has restored you to health.
Luke 17:11-19 AMP
Jesus was in His way to Jerusalem, and it happened while Jesus was passing along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering one village, he met with lepers who stood at distance. Then those lepers raised their voice and they called out, Jesus, Master! Have pity on us. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priests and as they went they were cleansed.
Later only one man came back to Jesus with praises in his mouth thanking God for what He has done for him. This surprised Jesus and he asked if not all ten were cleansed? but he was amazed to see only one person who was not even a Jew but he was the one who came to show his appreciation to Jesus. As the result his health was totally restored and I believe he become so new that it wasn't possible to believe that he had leprosy few hours before Jesus came across that village.
When we look the meaning of the word appreciation we can say is the act of recognizing the quality, value, significance, or magnitude of people and things. As that Samaritan recognized the value of the healing which he received from Jesus, we also must learn to recognize and appreciate all what God has done to our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
It is very easy and obvious for a human being who was born by a woman to count troubles which he face, disappointments, unattained  goals, failed dreams and defeats which he suffered in his life time. But God wants you to stop focusing on what you can't do, can't go, can't have, can't see, can't win, can't say, can't give, and all related with can'ts and start thinking on what God can do for you, can say to you, can win for you, can give you, can help you and who can restore everything and make them new.
You can change your attitude today, you can start by appreciating all that God has done for you and which He is going to do for you by faith. This morning start your day with the heart which was in that Samaritan man and God is going to do all what He has planned for your life.
****Morning with Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. I'm asking for forgiveness for my bad attitude before you Lord, help me to change my attitude that I may live a thanksgiving life in all days of my being. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
