Morning with Ebenezer

IN THAT CITY

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Revelation 21:2-3 NKJV

The hope which we have in Christ is this, after this life we have another life ahead of us. The Bible says there is life after death for those who will remain faithful to the Lord until the end; they will live another life which none of us can imagine with our carnal minds. The Bible is the only book which has made clearly the reward of sin and the gift of God which is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

In that City which God has prepared for us the Bible says; God will wipe every tear in our eyes. There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. (Revelation 21: 4). Paul the Apostle said this in the book of 2 Corinthians 4:17,''For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory''.

I want to encourage you today that, do not give up in following Christ. You may be living in the difficult conditions; you may be living in the midst of unbelievers and facing oppositions in every corner of your life. Remember that God has prepared a City for you(Hebrews 11:16), remember Jesus said in the house of His Father there are many mansions(John 14:1-3); remember that Jesus said He will be with you even to the end of the age( Matthew 28:20). God is with you always and to do not be ashamed to call Jesus your God.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is to answer your prayer....

Dear God, thank you for preparing a city for me in heaven. Help me to be faithful to you in all the days of my life that I may inherit your Kingdom. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
