Morning with Ebenezer

MOUNT ZION

Those who trust in the Lord
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
Psalm 125:1-2 (NKJV)

In the Bible we see the example of Job who trusted God in his days. Job was the just man who went before God in all of his heart. One day Satan tempted him by giving Him diseases and every kind of problems in his life including the loss of his children and all the wealth which he had in his life.

Before temptations, Job learned to put his trust in the LORD his God and the LORD prospered him greatly. When he was tempted he continued trusting in the LORD and he was not shaken by and kind of attack from the devil because he knew his redeemer lives and one day He would come for His rescue.

In the day of temptation Job stood like Mount Zion because he had put his trust in the LORD his God. You may be also tempted in your life right now and the devil is preaching inside of you that, this time you’re going down, you won't be able to stand up ever again. 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. The God of Job is the God who created you. If you will shift your trust from people, finances, education, inheritance or your parents and start trusting God one hundred percent. God will fight for your life in all the days of your life and you won't be shaken because our God is faithful God.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

JEHOVAH God, I thank You for Your Word. I am asking for your forgiveness for putting my trust on things and people. Help me now to trust you fully. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
