LIVING THE LIFE OF FAITH
This is the sum of the years of
Abraham’s life which he lived: one hundred and seventy-five years. Then Abraham
breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and
was gathered to his people.
Genesis 25:7-8 NKJV
The Bible explain in details
the life of Abraham, he was a man of God who lived by faith. He obeyed the will
of the Father and walked in the way of righteousness. God was with him and
showed Himself faithful in Abraham's life.
These things were written to
teach us that we ought to live the life of faith, they were written to show us
that if we put our faith in God will receive the reward from Him. The story of
Abraham shows that God is in control over every event that takes place in someone's
life. It shows He has the ability to do anything and choose whoever He wants to
use in this life.
This is why you shouldn’t
look yourself down or think you are of no importance in this life. We see God
calling Abraham when he was 75 years old. It doesn't matter how many years you
were away from God but still God can use you mightily. The story of Abraham
teaches us to depend on God in everything and trust God even in the times of
darkness in life.
This morning, I want to
encourage you to live the life of faith. I don't know what you have been going
through this year; but I believe with all of my heart that God wants you to
have faith. He wants you to live by faith and not by sight. God wants you to
trust Him even if all things seem to be different from what you expected them
to be.
There are some things that
have happened in your life that God intended to use them to build your faith.
That's why you have seen God because you had no choice but believe in Him in
your trials and temptations. In your prayers ask the good Lord to perfect your
faith everyday; ask Him to help you live by faith while you are waiting for His
Second Coming.
****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Heavenly Father, I'm
asking that You may help me to live the life of faith in all the days of my
life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
