Morning with Ebenezer

FORGIVE

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Mark 11:25-26 NKJV

We are living with our fellow humans who make mistakes, have weakness and offend us every day. Sometimes these people are so dear to us, they can be our spouse, children, Church members, co-workers and etc.

We need to learn to deal with everyone who comes in our lives. Sometimes our backgrounds and culture contribute a lot in shaping our behaviors. Before you jump and judge someone, you need to understand why he does what he does. There are some culture permits their people to do some things that are not allowed in some culture.

Jesus encouraged us to forgive seven times seventy in a day. In the reality no one will be able to offend you that much in a single day. Still there are people who can stumbling block for us every day. Some of these people can be our co-workers, relatives or friends.

This morning, I want to encourage you to forgive someone. I want you to know that offense will always come in your way. The enemy will want you to be busy dealing with them that you may forget dealing with the purpose of God in your life. You need to learn to forgive people who offend you and move on with your life.

We have people in a Church who are still miserable because they still deal with a thing that happened to them when they were twelve or sixteen years old. Now they are thirty years old but still they complain about it. Being mature is to let go all what the past did to you and look on what God has prepared for you. You won't experience God in a deeper level of you will still holding your past pains and mistakes. If you want to step in a higher dimension in God, then you need to let the bygones be the bygones and forgive someone today.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God  is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to forgive all those who have wronged me. Give me grace that I may let them go and move on with my life in You. Help me to love my enemies and pray for them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
